Andrea Joy Cook (also known as A.J. Cook is an internationally acclaimed Canadian actor. Her most well-known character is Jennifer Jareau, a supervisory special agent for CBS's crime thriller Criminal Minds. In 2005 the show has aired and is now on its 13th season. Cook, who was born in Oshawa in Ontario, Canada's province, showed an early passion for acting. Cook made her debut as an actress by making a guest appearance in Goosebumps. The Virgin Suicides (1999) was her first film. The film was not a huge success. Following the film the film, she started appearing in American Canadian drama Higher Ground as one of its lead characters. In the following years, she began appearing on the drama about police officers Criminal Minds which earned her lots of attention and fame.
