Kat Dennings (n e Katherine Victoria Litwack) was born on the 13th day of June from Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. Her mother, Ellen, was a poet and speech therapist while the father of her, Gerald, was a molecular pharmacist and professor in the college. Dennings is youngest of five and grew up in a Jewish household. Dennings did not attend an established school for very long but was instead homeschooled. As she was attempting to become an actor from a young age, the homeschool arrangement made the best sense, as she could complete high school at the age of 14. When she was just 9, she had started acting in advertisements. To pursue her acting profession, Kat Dennings relocated with her family into Los Angeles when she finished high-school.
